This painting is a thank you present for a friend. She LOVES to fish and even takes a fishing rod on the plane with her when she goes on a winter vacations to the tropics.

I have wanted to paint goldfish for ages but other subjects usually won the battle. Not this time so over the last couple of weeks with a few minutes here and there I managed to put them on the canvas. I tried multible backgrounds with these fishes but it just didnt feel right, a bit too busy for my liking, so simple is best.  Acrylic on canvas 15.5x24in |
