Even though I have a small mountain of tomatoes that need to be roasted, my husband and I played hookie and it was just as much fun as ever. We went on a long drive on some of the areas back roads. I have a fondness for swamps and lily filled ponds. Sure the lakes are nice but my heart belongs with the frogs, minnows and plant filled wet spots that are teeming with life. So I thought my Lily Pond painting would be todays post, it seemed fitting.
