This is number two and three of the three commissioned indoor/outdoor paintings I have been working on for a couple of weeks. Ive said it before and I will say it again.....I LOVE.......working on larger paintings. The only slight fly in the ointment is when working on the indoor/outdoor paintings my colour palette is limited more so than indoor canvas paintings. I use exterior paint for most of the projects then the top two layers are artists acrylics that are durable for full sun locations (just in case) with the addition of a chemical hardener, topped off with three coats of exterior varathane.
